In the cylinder inspection project, the hydrostatic pressure inspection of the cylinder and the residual deformation of the cylinder are the two most important inspection items. «GB13004-1999» Periodic Inspection and Evaluation of Steel Seamless gas tanks »stipulates that after high-pressure gas tanks undergo a hydrostatic inspection of the cylinders, the residual deformation of the cylinders must be inspected. If the residual deformation of the tested cylinder exceeds the specified value, the cylinder shall still be judged as unacceptable even if the hydrostatic pressure inspection of the cylinder is satisfactory.
